Would you say your website is working the way you thought it would for your law business, or the way you need it to work? If not, you will want to watch this STAT!
I met with Ruthann Bowen, CEO of Wix DesignHer, to dive deep into the superpowers your website needs to increase conversions.
Here are some of the topics we covered.
Why do you need a website?
These days, nobody is trying to find you by taking a walk downtown, or browsing store windows, or taking a drive around the center of the city. Our society doesn’t operate like that any more. We all want more IMMEDIATE results, so what are they doing instead? They are pulling out their (smart) phones and searching online…. for EVERYTHING, including a lawyer.
If you do not have an online presence these days, nobody will find you. PERIOD.
(unless you’re a high profile law firm).
What if I get no business from my website?
The first thing you need to consider before you “get a website” is figure out a goal for that website. It can’t just be some basic set up. There are a number of elements it should have within it, depending on what you want for your clients to experience and how easily they can interact with forms, or booking calendars. Do you have simple “call to action” buttons? Is it guiding them through an uncomplicated process based on your goal to attract them to your business? If you’re not attracting the clientele, or getting the conversions you desire, then take a look at the goal you have set for your website.
What is a Lead Magnet?
Your lead magnet is an offer, like a free pdf, or checklist, or something your visitor would find a high value to them. The best way to give it to them is to have them subscribe by giving you their email address in order to send it to them. This is key to the growth of your database.
The beauty of this is sending them an occasional email, which puts your name in front of them, for the time they need a lawyer.
What else can a website do for my law practice?
Now that you have your free lead magnet, you can also use your website to lead your clients to a paid webinar, or to purchase your book, or to book you as an expert speaker.
Listen in as we talk more about functionality, addressing your client’s pain points, how to make your services their solutions and why they’re hiring you for your expertise!
